We at Felt believe that cross-country XC frames are the best intersection of weight, stiffness, comfort, terrain resistance and power transfer achieved using our carbon-dural construction platform. We have managed to "pull out" the ideal properties in two different materials and mix them into one final product. We have used our long experience of traditional duralumin tube forming with the latest carbon technology to offer the greatest benefits to riders.

The extent to which Dural Superlite pipes are processed is extraordinary. While the outer and inner tube shaping is aimed at reducing the weight, the conical massive cross-sections of the tubes give the SIX frames remarkable stiffness. And what is the benefit of using carbon? Most off-road shocks go through the back of the rear wheel into the rear structure and from there directly into the rider's body. The damping properties of carbon fibers do not have better use than when constructing a rear structure.

Already in 2009, SIX geometry has been optimized for the use of spring-loaded forks with a 100 mm stroke, the most common current stroke. Super light, built for speed, the SIX series is designed for true driving requirements. The long, sloping top tube, short rear construction and fast, aggressive geometry contribute to driving agility.
